When I was at school during the early 70’s our class was mainly split three ways between West Ham, O’s and Tottenham supporters. The West Ham and O’s supporters would accompany each other every other week to each other’s Ground (the Spurs lot would keep themselves to themselves.)
I watched a few interesting matches in the old division two, as it was, seeing the likes of Bolton, Blackpool and Oldham, before we played them later that decade. Fast forward to Hearn’s reign and I really hoped that Orient would go out of existence due to Hearn’s money grabbing stance against us.
Anyway, a few weeks ago, on the way home on the Central Line after a match, a few O’s fans got on the carriage at Leyton and looked at those of us in claret and blue as if they had trod in dogs mess, the cheek of it! I doubt it very much but I really hope that they stay where they are in non league.

Used to look out for their result. (as they're me old mans team).
Not too bothered now and he normally tells me.

Always had a soft spot for the O's until that cnut Hearn got involved with them. He has little man syndrome and throws his toys out the pram constantly if he doesn't get his own way. I have sympathy that the London Stadium is on the O's doorstep but, the they are in Waltham Forest, Spurs are in Haringey, West Ham are in Newham neither were going to get the stadium......end of move on!

Fair point. They tore up a 25 year deal with Vinci the other day.
Not too much of a stretch to think they'd pay a backhander for athletics to move back to Birmingham.
